Things to Do in Red Rock Country (Thanks to Your RV Rental)

If you’ve reserved an RV rental in Red Rock Country, you know that you are about to embark on a journey to one of the most scenic vacation spots in the United States.

In such a huge national park, you need to know ahead of time what it is that you want to do in order to fit everything in. Here is your list of things to do to get the most out of your trip to Red Rock Country in your RV rental.

Scenic Hiking Trails

It’s not a trip to Red Rock Country without a hike or two. Whether you want an easy, quick hike like Weeping Rocks or if you want a more strenuous one like The Narrows, you can’t go wrong making a day-trip out of these trails.

The Virgin River

Venture out of your RV rental to spend the day floating down the Virgin River. It’s a great, relaxing way to enjoy the sights the Grand Circle has. Sure, you can sit out by the river for a peaceful retreat as well, but most tourists love to float down the river in tubes. It’s definitely something you don’t want to miss out doing.

Sightseeing Shuttle Bus Tours

Seasonal shuttle bus tours allow tourists to visit areas of the national park in southern Utah that are normally blocked off to keep traffic down. See some of Zion’s best views on these stress-free, no-hassle tours. Note that these tours are seasonal, meaning you are not able to go on them other than the months of April to October.

Zion RV Rentals

If you want more time to do all the things you want in Red Rock Country, make sure you rent from Zion Trailer Rentals. We want you to enjoy your vacation as long as you can, so we deliver and set up your RV rental to your designated campground. This way, you get to spend more time doing the important things like hiking, floating down the Virgin River and sightseeing and less time stressing over setting up your trailer.

Call 435-275-4470 or email info@ziontrailerrentals.com to set up your reservation for affordable RV rentals in Red Rock Country.

Fall Special on Zion RV Trailer Rentals: $100 OFF!

We will be offering a fall special on our RV trailer rentals because we know that the months of August to October are the best time of year to visit Zion. We want to share this season with you and help make your dream vacation here a reality.

Here are some of the reasons why fall is such a fantastic time to visit Zion.

Cooler Temperatures

It’s no secret that this national park in southern Utah can get to extremely high temperatures during the summer. That’s right, temperatures can get above 100 degrees during these months.

But during the fall, it all calms down. Temperatures range between a comfortable 60-90 degrees during the months of August to October. Spend the entire day enjoying the beautiful trails and views outside in the cooler weather.

Photographer’s Paradise

Autumn is also one of the most beautiful times to visit Zion. The colors really come alive during this time of year when the leaves change. Stunning shades of blazing reds, vivid oranges and shimmering yellows paint the landscape. Snap some photos that would make the most seasoned photographers jealous.

Uncrowded Zion

And you can take those pictures without having to worry about crowds getting in your way during the fall. Other months are so busy for this national park, but fall is definitely its off-season. These months are some of the best to visit Zion because they are the least crowded. Your vacation will be much more relaxing and calm without a huge crowd of tourists.

Starry Nights and Campfires

Zion’s night sky is just another beautiful detail of the vacation spot. The starry sky in this national park even rivals the daytime views. With so little light pollution—a rarity in this day and age—Zion is a great place for stargazing, making it a tranquil retreat from city life.

Nothing is better than sitting outside on a cool autumn night in Zion with a campfire and some s’mores. Sit back, relax and breath in that autumn air.

Zion Trailer Rental Fall Special: $100 OFF!

Yet another reason to visit Zion in autumn—book a reservation between the dates August 15 to October 15 to receive our fall special of $100 off on any RV trailer rental. Call 435-275-4470 or email info@ziontrailerrentals.com for details.

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration  March 19, 2016

Only in Springdale is St. Patrick’s Day celebrated with a green Jell-O sculpture contest.  Usually held on the Saturday closest to the St. Patrick’s Day holiday, the celebration includes a parade, Jell-O contests, live music and lots of “Irish” fun. There’s a full day of fun and feast this year!

Springdale shares everything the park has to offer: rugged, car-free bike trails, challenging hikes, brilliant wildlife and breathtaking vistas.

Don’t  miss the East side of Zion! Follow SR 9 that continues East through the park towards the East entrance, passing some switchbacks, the Zion tunnel, and Canyon Overlook trail which is just on the East side of the tunnel. This is a different section of Zion than the main canyon, and is often referred to as East Zion. Check out The checker board Mesa!
